ANTM Cycle22 A Day in the Desert
one of my favourite pieces from ANTM Cycle22, 'A Day in the Desert' documents one of the final photoshoots of the season as the four remaining models brave the desert heat.
shot entirely on the Sony A7S via the Atomos Shogun, the piece is available in UHD on youtube, where the A7S's sharp image quality is showcased nicely.
colouring was done in davinci.
this was the end of the original, CW ANTM. VH1 sadly squandered an opportunity to bring the show back with a fresh, authentic, modern voice, but there were two more seasons with them, which i did do some work on, but nowhere near my preveious involvement.
my time on ANTM was pivotal for me, i found myself suddenly working in a pretty professional TV context out of nowhere. i took it all very seriously and had plenty of moments of self-doubt, panic, and feeling out of my league.
and it’s funny sometimes to realise how perspective can change in hindsight. i’ll forever be grateful for the opportunities and growth i experienced as a result of working on ANTM.
