i’m always a sucker for a synth.
in spring 2021, i got asked to put together a visual piece for UDO’s unique “Super Six” - a binarual analog hybrid synthesiser from bristol in the UK.
once again featuring the sound stylings of Drew Neumann, GSF Agency wanted a showpiece to demonstrate the wide range of sounds the synth is capable of. to that end, Drew’s track highlights the sonic palette available via the Super Six, with his trademark sound design skills on point.
rhinoslider escorting the bmpcc6k through a forest of quasar science…
the piece was shot relatively simply, using the blackmagic pocket cinema camera 6k and the always utterly amazing quasar science LED lighting fixtures. the rhinoslider provides the smooth, cinematic shots, with some creative angles giving the piece a bit of an outer-space, orbital kind of vibe (indeed inspired by UDO’s own marketing materials on their website.)
always enjoy showcasing tools like this. buy one today!
